Janet (Tarnowski) Acheson — beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin, left us on Oct. 24, 2016, after a long battle with lung cancer.

Janet was born May 1, 1958, to Narlene and Tony Sr. Tarnowski (both preceded her in death). Born in Mt. Vernon and moved to Hoquiam when she was young. She attended schools in Hoquiam, and college in Mt. Vernon.

Janet married her love, Donald (Ding) Acheson on Feb. 3, 1993. They resided in Lakewood, Wash. at the time of her passing.

Janet doted on her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them. She also loved collecting things: Troll dolls, rocks, Seahawks stuff and misc. things.

She will be remembered and treasured by her husband Ding, her sister Debbie and Louie Kaarvand, her brother Tony and Romea Tarnowski, and little sis Lori and Rodger Cassat as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her namesake Aunt Janet Gaspard. Always in our hearts.
