Jerry Lynn Foster Jr. passed away on May 7, 2022.

Jerry Lynn Foster Jr. passed away on May 7, 2022. He was born on Nov. 4, 1972 to Jerry Lynn Foster and Linda Kaye (Fenton) Foster in Aberdeen, Washington. He was raised in Montesano and graduated from Montesano Jr./Sr. High Class of 1991. Jerry was a Local 66 foreman sheet metal worker for 29 years, mostly working in the Seattle area.

Jerry coached sports for 16 years, including Elma Junior High football, Montesano and Elma youth football, and Little League. He loved golfing, coaching, taking his kids to go clam digging, cooking, hunting, hiking and fishing. He loved supporting his local sports associations.

Jerry and his wife Dianna Lynn Foster had been together eight years and recently married on Oct. 31, 2021.

Jerry is survived by his wife Dianna at their home in Montesano; mother Linda Foster of Montesano; sons Blake Dean and Jase Richard Foster; daughter Declyn Grace Foster; stepchildren Brenten Michael Wayne and Kennedi Renea Beste; sister Melissa (Dave) Fruen; nieces and nephews MaKayla, Mady and Wade Ridenour and Chance Fruen; and many cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father Jerry; grandparents Richard and Lillie Foster, and Clifford and Dee Fenton.

A church service was held Friday, May 20, at the Assembly of God, 125 S Sylvia St, Montesano, WA 98563, a graveside service was held at Wynoocche Cemetery after the church service, and a reception was held at the Montesano Moose Lodge after the graveside.

He will be remembered for his infectious smile and big hugs.
