John William King went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022. He was born in Wolf Point, Montana to Birdie Pipe (McKean) and Kenneth King.
John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his children Kerry King-Hoffman, Annette Morris, Randall King, Lisa Moody, and stepdaughter Edie Remington; sister Minnie King-Newton; grandchildren Stephanie, Dustin, Matthew and Dylan and great-grandchildren Sierra, Kylee, Haylee, Owen and Emmerson.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Birdie (McKean); father, Kenneth King; wives Penny (Chilen) and Veda King; brothers Leroy Martin, Jim King and Dale King, sister Patsy (Jansen) and grandchildren Abbie and Dale King.
John’s early years were a rolling stone living in Montana, Texas, Alaska, Oregon and ultimately Washington. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a logger and mechanic by trade. After an accident in the woods that took his right limbs, he found God and sobriety. His later years were filled with the Holy Spirit, and he grew in faith and responsibility. He wed his final wife Veda and took her daughter Edie as his own. Despite his disabilities, he provided for his family as a health care transportation driver in the state of Washington.
John was known for his beautiful smile, quick wit and humorous personality. John will be dearly missed by his many friends and family.
