Jose Guadalupe Burgos-Villa, 57, Montesano resident and self-employed Forester, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Wash.
Guadalupe was born on Nov. 6, 1960, in Los Placeres, Mexico to Nicolas Diaz and Maria Pineda. He came to the U.S.A. when he was 25 and then to Aberdeen in 1985. He moved to Montesano in 2010.
He graduated from Clover Park Voc-Tech with a degree in Auto Body Repair.
In 1986, Guadalupe married Tammy Casey. They later divorced, but remained friends till his passing.
He enjoyed fishing with his grandson, watching news, being with friends, BBQ’s and riding skidoos.
Guadalupe is survived by his daughter, Heather Villa of Tacoma; a step-son, Matthew Casey of Montesano; brothers: Ramiaro Millan, Miguel Portillo, Said Portillo and Brernardo Portillo, Jaime portillo, and Guadalupe Portillo, all of Mexico; sisters: Lila Millan, Albertina Villa and Rosalva Portillo; grandsons: Mason Villa and Andre’s Villalobos-Villa. He was preceded in death by a step-son: Christopher Santiago.
Service will be held at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, with celebration of life to follow at the Aberdeen VFW from 1-4 p.m.
