Judi Lynn Brooks, age 71, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, passed away on July 8, 2018, of natural causes at Pacific Care Center. She was born on Aug. 29, 1947, in Aberdeen, Wash. to Harold and Georgine (Markley) Hansen. In 1965, she graduated from Wishkah High School. Judi was a hairdresser most of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Reggie Brooks of Hoquiam; a daughter and her husband, Marni and Scott West of Cosmopolis; two granddaughters, Scotti Marsh of Aberdeen and Payton West of Cosmopolis; one great-grandson, Knox Marsh of Aberdeen and four brothers, Herk of Hoquiam, Jack of Port Orchard, Howard of Tokeland and Jerry VanDeboe of Seattle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Kenny Hansen.
Judi enjoyed spending time with her husband and family and with her dog Pippa. She never missed both of her granddaughter’s basketball games. EVER! She also enjoyed going on shopping trips with her best friend, Lois West.
She loved life and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
