Judith Ann (Gebhardt) Burleson, a Lake Nahwatzel resident, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, of an arterial aneurism at the University of Washington Hospital in Seattle; she was 69. Judi was born Jan. 18, 1948, in Aberdeen, Wash. to Mike J. and Marjorie A. (Servis) Gebhardt, she was raised in Montesano.
Judi worked in banking for 19 years, then went on to becoming legal secretary for the Grays Harbor Prosecutors Office, retiring in December of 2012.
She spent a lot of time snow skiing and traveling. Judi and her husband traveled to Europe 7 times over the past 10 years enjoying every moment of their riverboat trips through multiple rivers. Judi especially loved Paris during the Holidays, New Years and Christmas.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary. Judi thoroughly enjoyed her friends at Lake Nahwatzel and was also a member of the S&B Club.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years David L. Burleson of Lake Nahwatzel, her sister Christine (Rodney) Jones of Gaston, Ore. as well as her brother-in-law Max (Carol) Burleson of Lebam.
Memorial donations may be made in Judi’s memory to the American Heart Association.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo. A gathering will be held at from 12 – 3 p.m. at the Montesano Moose Hall.
