The son of Chanel Webber and Mathis Jensen, Kaiden, was born in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Willapa Harbor Hospital. A preemie at just under 35 weeks, Kaiden’s heart, kidneys, and lungs were not fully developed at the time of birth and he was transferred later that day to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. After nine days at Children’s, during which some promise was shown, Kaiden began to experience organ failure and he died on the evening of Aug. 8, 2017.

Cremation was performed by Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home of Seattle.

A Memorial service with the Reverend Dale Larson presiding will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, in the sanctuary of First Lutheran Church in South Bend where mother, Chanel, and great-grandmother, Cynthia Bold, are members.
