Kimberly Kay Conrad passed away the morning of March 22. She was a graduate of Seattle Pacific University and taught high school math for several years in Tumwater, Washington. She then obtained her masters in computer science from Colorado State University before joining Hewlet Packard (“HP”). She worked for HP in Boise, Idaho; Bergamo, Italy and Vancouver, Washington.
In 2005, her severe rheumatoid arthritis forced her to retire. She built her dream house on the beach in Westport, Washington and lived there with her mother, Maxine Conrad, until her passing.
Kim is survived by her mother, her brother and sister-in-law, Del and Michelle Conrad, her sister and brother-in-law, Tami Conrad and Dave Schoeggl, as well as 8 nephews, a niece, and a grand-niece and -nephew.
There will be a viewing at Yahn & Son Funeral Home, 55 W. Valley Hwy. S., Auburn, Washington, from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. Her burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, 2020 Mountain View Dr. Auburn, Washington, at 11 a.m. on April 6. Her memorial service will be at Yahn & Son Funeral Home at 1 p,m, on April 6. The family respectfully requests that you attend either fully vaccinated and boosted or having taken a negative home COVID test that morning.
