Larry Alan Dell passed away at his home in Aberdeen on Aug. 20, 2024, at the age of 73.

He was born on March 3, 1951 in Aberdeen to parents Edward James Dell Sr. and Yvonne (Woodson) Dell. He was a 1969 graduate of Aberdeen High School. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1971. While in the Army, he married his sweetheart of 50 years, Colleen (Stacie) Dell, in June of 1974. He left the military in 1979 with an honorable discharge. He then went on to work at Consolidated Technology Services as a help desk manager. He retired on Feb. 28, 2013 after 33 years of employment with the company.

Larry loved hunting, camping, and spending time with his family. He especially loved to cook for everyone at family gatherings.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Dell at the family home in Central Park; daughters Shylah (Jesse) Schurr of Montesano and Heather (Steve) Youmans of Hoquiam; brothers Richard (Karen) Dell of Satsop, and Timothy Dell of Aberdeen; sisters Deanna Gragg of Central Park and Anita (James) Criel of Central Park; grandchildren Tianna Schurr, Skye Schurr, Raylee Jones, Logan Swaney, Teagan Youmans, Grayden Youmans, and Hadley Youmans; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Yvonne Dell; brothers Gerald Dell and Edward Dell II; and sisters Brenda Dell and Barbara Rasmus.

Memorial donations can be made to the Central Park Fire Station.
