We are sad at the unexpected passing of Larry Dwight Bowen.

Larry was born Oct. 24, 1954 and died Sept. 12, 2016. He is the son of Herb and Marion Bowen of Montesano. Larry graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1972. Upon graduation he worked with Job Corps. Leaving Job Corps he moved to San Diego and lived there for 33 years. During his time in San Diego he was employed with a printing company.

When Larry recently returned to Montesano in 2013 he was employed as a trainer with The Pasha Automotive Company in Aberdeen. His time with Pasha was a rewarding time, winning awards and developing a great working environment for himself and his colleagues.

Larry enjoyed life’s many activities. He enjoyed fishing and dart/pool tournament competitions. Larry was an absolute joy to be around, his smiles and laughter were infectious.

Larry is survived by three brothers: David Gerard of Montesano, Steve Bowen of San Diego, and Ted Bowen of Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.

We will have a potluck celebration of life Saturday, Sept. 24 at Olympic view Grange in Brady at 2 p.m.
