Linda Ann Camus, 55, of Amanda Park, Wash., passed away on June 1, 2017, at Tacoma General Hospital. Linda was born to Larry F. Rassmussen and Connie L. Quin of Kalispell, Mont., on Jan. 30, 1962.
Linda attended school and lived in Montana until she was 13 years old. In 1974, Linda and her family relocated to Amanda Park where her father owned the local motel. She attended Lake Quinault High School. In 1979, she met her loving husband John M. Camus of 38 years. Together John and Linda built a home and family along the Quinault River. They had three beautiful children, Dontae, Natheon and Darren. Linda was a stay at home mother and spent her time with family and friends and helping every person she could along the way.
Linda had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, having fun with her family, and watching her children and grandchildren grow. Her love for them was unconditional. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and crafting. Linda enjoyed people and always had a good time no matter where she was. She had a smile and laugh that was contagious and she brightened every room she walked into. Linda had a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed by everyone that loved her.
Linda Ann Camus is survived by her husband, John M. Camus of the family home at Amanda Park, Wash.; her children, Dontae L. Hartt of Amanda Park, Wash., Natheon J. Camus of Elma, Wash. and Darren M. Camus of Elma, Wash.; her grandchildren, Carrie Hartt, Isaiah Camus, Brett Palmer, Alayna Hartt, Ethan Camus, Brody Palmer and Blake Hartt; her sister and best friend, Carrie Eystad and her husband, Willie of Kalispell, Mont.; her brothers, Larry Rasmussen of Ocean Shores, Wash., Michael Rasmussen and Donnie Mcillhargey and other relatives.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam. A potluck for family and friends will follow.
