Linda Jackson

Linda Jackson was born to Clarence and Mary Jackson Oct. 17, 1949.

Linda Jackson died Aug. 24, 2022.

She was born to Clarence and Mary Jackson Oct. 17, 1949. She attended school in Central Park and St. Mary’s School in Aberdeen. She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1967. She went into GH Community College and then to University of Washington and graduated with a masters degree in computer science and mathematics.

She was one of the first employees of Fiserv, the business that processes banking transactions daily. Linda’s career led her to become manager of various major computer programming projects including University of Washington and Nordstroms. She was always on time and on budget with her projects.

She was an avid reader, reading one book a day. She had her own personal library where family members could “check out “ books and return. She loved geocaching, quilting and cross stitch. She did not have children of her own and was known for having special dates with her nieces and nephews. They have wonderful memories spending time with Aunt Linda.

She is survived by her brothers Denny (Ruth) of Lake Havasue, Arizona and Tom (Cathy) of Central Park; sisters Pat (Ross) Tuininga of Yelm and Deanna Jackson of Hoquiam, nieces and nephews: Tom (Lueronica) Jackson, Cassie (Marshall) Lentz, Hollie Jackson, Nathan Tuininga and Seth Tuininga, and four grand-nieces: LueKaylynn and LueAhyna Jackson, and Ellery and Romy Lentz.

Her parents preceded her in death.

There will be no service. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association or your local library.
