Loretta Marie Brown was born on April 6, 1948, in Manistique, Michigan on a family farm to parents Clio and Eva Brown. As an adult, travels, adventures and relationships eventually brought Loretta to Elma. Then later she moved to Westport.
She is dearly missed by her own children Lorie, Robyn and Les, other family members, as well as her boyfriend Bryan. Loretta made many friends playing Bingo at the Westport VFW. People who knew Loretta all enjoyed her quick wit, sweet smile and infectious laughter.
She died on Dec. 31, 2024, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. Loretta was overwhelmed by several illnesses working against her. Pay attention to your own body’s warning signs. Please don’t wait.
