Marilyn Faith (Monticello) Stephens, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at her home on April 21, 2022, after a long illness at the age of 85. “Doots” as everyone knew her, was known for her incredible kindness, her giving and genuine nature, her love of family, life, faith, and friends and will be dearly missed by all.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, and her grandkids always loved being at Gramma’s house. An amazing cook, her blackberry pies were legendary to anyone that had the good fortune to get a piece. She loved great conversation, was inquisitive and always interested and engaging with her many, many friends.

Doots is survived by her husband of 66 years Roy Stephens, two children: Ava Robinson (husband Gary) and Wayde Stephens (wife Diane), sister Toni Allen, five grandchildren: Kalen and Kyle Robinson, Tait, Sara and Grace Stephens, and two great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Jasper Robinson.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 11 a.m. at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo. A reception will follow at the Willapa United Methodist Church in Old Willapa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Willapa Ladies Aide, 969 Willapa First St, Raymond WA 98577.
