Michael J. Yonich, beloved brother, and grandfather, skilled union carpenter, and devoted member of the Elks Club, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024.
Born in Aberdeen, Washington on April 22, 1953, Mike was known for his big personality and unwavering dedication to his granddaughters, siblings, and friends. As a union carpenter, he dedicated his life to his trade. Most important to him was his role as a cherished grandfather who always had time for a story, a joke, or a camping adventure with his grandchildren.
In addition to his talents in carpentry, Mike was an active member of the Elks Club, where he contributed countless hours of service and camaraderie.
At Mike’s request there will be no memorial service. The family will carry out his last wishes in private.
Mike will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, laughter, and zest for life will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
