Michelle, age 61, passed away peacefully with family members by her side. She was the daughter of Richard and Valeria Hermsen. She worked in the educational field at both North Beach and Elma school districts. Working with her students was her passion. She was known for her captivating smile and quick sense of humor. She brought many smiles to many peoples faces. Michelle was an avid Seahawk and Gonzaga Bulldog fan. She also enjoyed an occasional casino visit. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole, grandson Mason, who she loved dearly, brothers Rick, Mike, and Jeff. Also at the family home is her mother Valeria. She was proceeded in death by her father Richard in March of 2013.
