On August 15, 2022, Nathan Johnson, loving father, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully in Tacoma, Washington. Nathan is survived by his children, Wyatt and Evelyn (her mother, Nicole); parents, Frank and Cathy; siblings: Joy, Rebecca, Brian and Jason, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Nathan, known as Nate-Dawg, was a giving, caring and compassionate soul. His passion and integrity to those he loved was unwavering. He had a heart as big as he was tall. His infectious smile and laugh will live on forever.
Following his Grandpa’s footsteps, Nathan was known for being incredibly passionate about his work as an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (working out of Local 77) Journeyman Lineman. He excelled in the exacting nature this work required, with a bright future ahead of him. He made friends and earned the respect of so many of his peers. He was described as a bad ass top hand and hard worker. When he wasn’t at the job site, which was rare, Nathan loved talking about the job site. He enjoyed being outdoors, skydiving and making memories with friends and loved ones. He was extremely humorous and loved making people laugh. As much as people knew hanging out with him would end the night in a killer hangover, he was the type of man that would drop everything and drive hours on end to help someone in need.
Nathan lived 1000 years in his 40 calendar years we had with him because he attacked life and lived it to its fullest. He will be greatly missed.
Nathan is meeting his Grandparents, Lavern “Curly” and Edna Johnson, in Heaven.
