Former Humptulips resident and beloved son, father and brother, Ned Allen Chamberlain, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 21, 2017, in Elkhart, Ind. He was born in Aberdeen, Wash., on Feb. 8, 1976, to Marilyn (Moody) and Wayne Chamberlain.

Ned graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1994 and immediately joined the U.S. Navy. He worked as a polisher at Complexus Medical in Mishawaka, Ind.

He will be lovingly remembered by daughters Kyla and Natasha Chamberlain, both of Columbia City, Ind.; his parents; brother Kenneth (Melissa) Willis of Chewelah, Wash., and sister Trisha (Major Ben) Perry of South Korea.

A memorial service was held on Aug. 25, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home in Warsaw, Ind. Pastor Jim Lawson officiated.
