Pat LeRoy Elliott

Pat LeRoy Elliott, age 91, of Kennewick, Washington passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025.

Pat was born on Feb. 9, 1934, in Hoquiam, Washington to Clifford and Alma Elliott. He spent his childhood playing baseball, working in a logging camp and digging clams to help pay the bills. He graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1952 and married Carol (Christian) in 1955.

Pat spent his entire career at the ITT Rayonier pulp mill, starting on the log boom in the wood mill, then becoming a mechanic’s helper and eventually rising to the position of Maintenance Superintendent.

In retirement Pat and Carol moved from Hoquiam to Lake Nahwatzel near Shelton. They traveled extensively after retiring, taking cruises and spending a month each year in Mexico as well as other trips around the U.S. Pat also enjoyed trout fishing on the lake and his many woodworking projects. He was also routinely helping the kids with their house projects. Pat and Carol moved to Kennewick eight years ago.

Pat was preceded in death by Carol, his wife of 67 years. He is survived by his children Leonard and Jodi Elliott of Cle Elum, Patricia and Michael Kane of Desert Aire, and Michael and Carol Elliott of Kennewick as well as 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pat was known for his hard work and dedication to family. He will be deeply missed.
