Patricia Elaine Pedersen was born March 16, 1951, in Tachikawa, Japan to Mike and Barbara Corcoran and passed away July 14, 2021, in Tacoma, Washington.

Most of her childhood was spent living in Johnston, Rhode Island. Pat also lived many places during her life as her father spent his career in the Army. Some of the most memorable were in Hawaii and Germany.

Pat met the love of her life Gary at a Valentine’s Day dance, and they were married a few short years later on Jan. 7, 1969. Shortly after Gary returned from Vietnam, they moved to Washington and later made their home in Westport, where they built a beautiful life and family together.

Pat worked at the family businesses in the ’70s and early ’80s: A-1 Charters and Café, the Angler Restaurant, Pete’s Crab Pot and Anchor Custom Cannery. Later Pat took a position with the City of Westport at the court and later City Hall. Her most recent job was at the Beach Clinic where she worked with her best friend Cathy Cedergreen. She loved her job and loved greeting people.

Pat was known as being a kind, thoughtful and generous person by all who knew her and was always willing to help those in need. She was a member of the South Beach Presbyterian Church for many years.

Pat is preceded in death by her father Mike Corcoran, mother Barbara Corcoran and her beloved daughter-in-law Debra Pedersen. Pat is survived by her husband of 52 years Gary, three children: Michael, Erin (Jim) and Jordyn (Travis); and three grandchildren: Erika, Emily and Liam.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. at the South Beach Christian Center in Grayland, Washington. All are invited to celebrate the life of our beloved wife, mother and Grammy.
