Pauline Ferren was born in Fulham, Great Britain, and spent her formative years in London. The oldest of three, Pauline lit up a room from the moment she came into this world.
As a young adult she travelled, modeled and worked at a London bank, enjoying life and laughter to its fullest. Pauline quickly became a beautiful, giving and caring woman — in every sense a lady. Pauline took life’s challenges with dignity, poise and a strength that inspired all who knew her.
In her 20s and early 30s, Pauline mourned the loss of her first child, survived cancer and gave birth to two boys (Rupert and Dan). She devoted herself to the care of her children with an unwavering love.
In her late 30s, Pauline met the love of her life (American Roger Ferren) and an incredible new chapter unfolded that took her family across the world to work and live.
In her 40s (and beyond) she volunteered her time at the different bases she lived in, even becoming “Pauline of PAWS” on a community radio station. Pauline achieved American citizenship, practiced and taught gentle Yoga and engaged with compassion, love and vivacity all who crossed her path.
Cancer returned a year and a half ago, causing a pain and discomfort that finally took her wonderful spirit.
We lost Pauline on the 28th day of May, 2021. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by her younger brother and sister, her two sons and her loving husband. May she rest in peace.
Per Pauline’s final wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no funeral or memorial services. She wants people to recall the happy, fun times they shared with her, and to laugh, and smile and remember her in private.
You done good Moma.
