Ralph Allen Remsing, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, peacefully passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at his home in Ocean Shores, Washington. He was 76 years old. Ralph was born Jan. 28, 1945, to Peter and Gloria Remsing in Spokane, Washington.
In Ralph’s childhood years he grew up in Spokane, Washington, where he graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1963.
On June 20, 1963, Ralph enlisted with the U.S. Army and served his country for several years. Shortly after he was honorably discharged on June 9, 1966, he met the love of his life, Rose Lorenz in Spokane. Ralph swept Rose off her feet, and they later married on June 28, 1973, in his hometown of Spokane.
Relocating to Ocean Shores, Ralph and Rose created their life together in Grays Harbor County. Ralph worked in many different fields of work including being a general contractor for a construction company for five years, Boeing for a few years, and owned his own computer repair company for five years until he retired.
When Ralph had spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, computers, building things, and spending time with his family. He was also a member of the Ocean Shores Elks Club. For a short time Ralph and his wife Rose moved to Great Falls, Montana, and eventually came back to their Ocean Shores home.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Rose Remsing, who still resides at the family home in Ocean Shores; daughters Vickie Austad and Tracie Anderson; brothers Bill and Rick Remsing; sister Gaye Trusty; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Peter and Gloria Remsing.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday April 20, at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Hoquiam, Washington.
