Ray Bunch, 73, died Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Vancouver, Washington. He was born Oct. 29, 1949 to Aubrey Gordon and Joyce (King) Bunch.

He was preceded in death by his sister Helen, father Aubrey, brother Eugene, and mother Joyce.

Surviving are his daughters Angela Bunch of Shelton, Heidi Bunch of New Hampshire, and Cassandra Conroy (Anthony) of Curtis. Ray had 11 grandchildren.

He had many adventures in the great outdoors. He worked as a forest firefighter, and in the Everglades, Yellowstone, North Rim Grand Canyon and Crater Lake National Park. He also worked in Kosrae and Crescent Lake Lodge. He loved to spend time at Lake Quinault, Kalaloch and Westport.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Aug. 19 at New Hope Assembly of God in Shelton, Washington at 1 p.m. Light refreshments to follow.
