North River resident Raymond Oscar Watson Sr. passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021.

Ray was a roofer, sheet metal man and a had been motor route driver for The Daily World.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia, his daughters: Angela Gilroy, Patti Jo Thompson and Connie Zauza; son Daniel Watson, five grandsons: Ryan, Nych, Gavin, Patrick and James; and five great-granddaughters: Imogene, Matilyn, Henrietta, Kaliape and Paisley.

Ray was preceded in death by his 15 brothers and sisters, son Raymond Jr., son Karl and grandson Glenn.

At this time there will be no gathering

He will truly be missed.
