Longtime resident of Elma, Dick Swartz passed away Feb. 11, 2019, at the age of 81. He was born in Cygnet, Ohio July 18, 1937. His family moved to Washington in 1947, and he graduated from Trout Lake High School in 1955.
Dick lived in the Seattle area for many years and Dutch Harbor, Alaska, for four years.
He worked as a teamster and commercial fisherman.
Dick loved people, hunting and fishing, reading and he had a wonderful sense of humor and an incredible memory.
He married his beloved wife Glenda Divinagracia from the Philippines in 1998. They lived in Elma for the last 20 years until his death.
Dick is survived by his wife Glenda; daughter Kim; step-daughter Glendale; sisters Darla and Leah and brothers Bill and Gary. He was preceded in death by his brother Larry.
Funeral services to be held at 1 p.m. on July 20, 2019, at Evergreen Washelli Cemetery, 11220 Aurora Ave N, Seattle.
