Robert “Bob” Bruce Hart passed away at the age of 75 at Providence St. Peter’s Hospital on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. Bob was born in Seattle on Oct. 24, 1943, to Robert “Bob” and Marian (Stewart) Hart.
He was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Marines, he trained to be a teacher and taught third, fourth and fifth grades at Central Park Elementary in Aberdeen, Washington. One of the passions in Bob’s life was Barbershop singing. He sang bass and was a member and director of both the Puget Sounders of Olympia and the Two Town Tuners of Centralia/Chehalis.
Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy. He is survived by his wife Janet; son Brian (Julie) and granddaughter Zoe.
