Bob Joseph Kruzic was born and raised in Tacoma. He graduated from Stadium High in 1954, then enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served at NATO military HQ (SHAPE) in Paris.
Returning to Tacoma, Bob began his own construction company, and did what he loved most — building and remodeling. Dad could build just about anything. He built homes from Alaska to California. After proudly working for a Silicon Valley stealth defense contractor, Bob built himself an ocean view home in Morro Bay, Calif. He returned to Washington state 15 years later and built another ocean view home for himself, this time in Westport, and lived there until he peacefully passed away April 18 in that home after a long illness.
Dad always went his own way, living life on his terms.
Survived by daughter Annette Kruzic (Robert Sweet), her two sons, and one great-granddaughter. Also survived by son, David Kruzic.
Special thanks to Lori, MaryAlice, and rest of the team at Puget Sound In-Home Hospice.
