It is with heavy hearts we announce the tragic loss of our beloved Robert Darrell Milton Nelson at age 33. Born in Pittsburg, California on July 13, 1991, moved to Ocean Shores, Washington., during his younger years.

Robbie passed in an unforeseen and devastating accident on Oct. 10, 2024. He was only on earth for a brief moment in time, but his legacy will live on through the gift he gave us with his three beautiful children: Kaydence, Emma and Owen all of Aberdeen, Washington.

Robbie found his career at the sawmill and was the light of many days he spent with co-workers. Always known for his genuine smile, his kind, loving and humorous personality, he enriched the lives of those around him. He enjoyed playing darts, trap shooting, videos games, school function, friends, family and making others laugh. Robbie’s truest joy in life was spent with his kids. He’s preceded in his walk to Heaven by his parents Richard Nelson Sr. and Wendy Wickham, grandparents Lana, Larry and Milton, and uncles Chuck and Jack.

He is survived by a tremendous family including his children, brother, Richard Nelson Jr., fiancé Anna Moody and son Cooper, grandparents Chuck and Carroll, uncles AJ and Tim, aunt Tiffany, nephew Noah, the Moody Family, Goldie Fischer and many cousins/relatives.

Robbie’s departure has left a void that’ll never be filled and the impact he left on all those privileged to know him will be forever cherished.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Galilean Church in Ocean Shores.
