Robert (“Bob”) Bonnell, 57, of Aberdeen, Washington passed away as a result of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. Bob was a loving brother, a loyal friend, and could fix pretty much anything. He had a passion for all things mechanical and collected endless odds and ends that might one day be re-used on a new creation.
Bob had a tough life and was no stranger to hardship and trouble. Yet, he was a kind and loving parent to both of his sons, Darion and Anthony. Bob wrestled in junior and senior high school, and in his adult years was an arm-wrestling champion. He graduated from Montesano High School, and attended various trade schools thereafter.
Bob is pre-deceased by his father, Robert W. Bonnell, brother Russell Bonnell and step-brother Dean Fulkerson. He is survived by his sons Anthony and Darion; mother Lois Hall; sister Patty Bonnell and half-brother Danny Bonnell; step-sister Kristi Spargo and step-mother Royann Bonnell, as well as various cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members in the Grays Harbor area and the Midwest.
There will be a private graveside ceremony at Fern Hill Cemetery. A public celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Aberdeen VFW Post 224 on Heron Street.
