Robert Michael Trader, 72, a lifetime resident of the Harbor, died at Capitol Medical Center, Olympia, Sunday, July 24, 2016. He was born April 22, 1944, in Aberdeen, Wash., the son of Robert J. and Viola B. (Schweitzer) Trader.

Robert was a 1963 graduate of Weatherwax High School and had been a longshoreman for 37 years before retiring in May of 2006. He was a member of the ILWU Local 24, Aberdeen.

He liked to collect buffalo figures and pictures.

Robert is survived by two brothers: Larry, Montesano and Tom, Aberdeen; and a sister: Carolyn Oestreich, Cosmopolis.

A private inurnment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery, Cosmopolis.
