Rodney Lee Rice, a long-time Grays Harbor resident, born to Loyal “Sonny” Rice and Delores (Lyons) Rice on March 30, 1951, passed from natural causes, Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021.

Rodney was a long-time logger and truck driver by trade.

He loved time with his family and friends, but mostly he enjoyed adventures on his Harley and was rarely seen without his sidekick Chubbs, his dog.

Proceeded in death by his father and mother. Rodney is survived by his two daughters and their spouses: Talonna and Tim Hanft, and Sundy and Josh Weinke; his son and his spouse, Ryan and Heather Rice; as well as his granddaughters Alexis Rice and Mataya Weinke, step-grandchildren Eban and Kylee Cerovac, his brother Mark Rice, nephew Clay Rice, sister Vickie Rice Olson, niece Misty Matisons Bertuzzi, many cousins and countless friends.

A celebration of life to be announced at later date.
