Lifelong Aberdeen resident, Roger Brian Weston passed away peacefully on Jan. 27, 2025, in Pennsylvania with close family by his side. He will be forever missed and the hole in our hearts from his loss can never be filled. He was a gentle giant and loved his family and his many friends deeply. Please think of him often as he will never be truly gone as long as someone remembers him.

Roger was born in Aberdeen on May 10, 1950, to Bertill and Ethel (née French) Weston. He attended school in Aberdeen, graduating from Weatherwax High School in 1969. He served honorably in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. For the majority of his adult life he was employed as a log truck driver working for FG Peterson, Anderson & Middleton, A&A Trucking, Dave Williams Logging, Lutton Trucking and Hamilton Logging, retiring in 2008 due to health issues. He also enjoyed owning/working on old cars, of which he owned a 1946 Plymouth, a 1956 Chevy and lastly a 1957 Ford Ranchero, and attending car shows. He and his wife, Kathy, moved to Honey Brook, Pennsylvania in 2019, after her retirement, to be closer to their daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the family home; his daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Larry Keevill; his grandsons, Kyle and Bryan Keevill of Malvern, Pennsylvania; five nephews and nieces, Erick (Jan) Weston on Montesano, Crystal Weston of Yakima, Kristi Ott of Portland, Oregon, and Jeff Ott and Kat Summers, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert Weston and Ethel Holland; his brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Sue Weston; and his sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Robert Winter.

At his request there will be no service. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to PAWS or a charity of your choice.
