Rory John Barreith was born Feb. 5, 1953, and passed away unexpectaedly on Dec. 11, 2021, at 3:42 p.m. He was 68.
Barreith was born in Portland, Oregon to John Fredrick Barreith and Dottie Dimples Kolbaba. He graduated from Montesano High School in 1971. On March 16, 1974 he married his lifelong partner, Constance Lorraine Shook at Central Park Methodist Church.
In 1984, he earned his electricians journeyman level certification. Barreith worked for Weyerhaeuser Company pulp mill, Grays Harbor Paper Company and Cosmo Specialty Fibers until he retired in 2016.
Barreith was an active member of his Cosmopolis community with many responsibilities as a AWPPW Local Treasurer, Harbor Soccer Ambassador, Boy Scouts Troop Leader, Olympians Hiking Club member, volunteer for the Cancer Relay for Life and many other volunteer positions.
He is survived by his adoring wife Connie, two sons, Kevin and Jeffrey Barreith, mother Dottie Barreith, sister Linda Von Hollen and his six grandchildren.
