Rosalie A. Uffelman died April 20, 2017, at Capital Medical Center after a short battle with cancer, with family and friends surrounding her. Rose was born March 24, 1946, in Hanover, Penn. to Charles and Ethel Marquet.
Rose married Michael Uffelman Oct. 6, 1963. They lived in Spring Grove, Penn. and later moved to Southern California in 1977, and in 1979 moved to Washington State where they finished raising their children and were enjoying retirement.
She first was a stay at home mom, then proceeded to get her real estate license and sold real estate for Century 21 and Price and Price Realty for many years. She also worked for Elma School District for twenty years and delivered lunches to the elementary children.
Rose and her husband of 53 years enjoyed gardening, hunting, cooking, traveling and spending time with her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Michael (Mike); daughter Samantha Soto and friend Bill Dotson; son and wife Mick and Andi; her father; two brothers Kenneth Marquet and Gary Marquet and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
