Roscoe “Ross” L Crass went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Nov. 11, 2024, after a long illness.
He was born April 15, 1930, to H. Willard and Emma (Fry) Crass. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Pearl; his parents, all 8 of his siblings, his 3 sons Kenneth, Arthur and Daniel and his granddaughter Kelly Hume Anderson.
He is survived by his daughter Arlene Hume (Mike Sr.), grandsons: Mike Hume Jr. (Susan), Steve Hume (Connie) and Lyle Bowe (Liezel); granddaughters Samantha Long (Thomas) and Phyllis Stanley, great-granddaughters Emma Anderson, Grace Long and Phoebe Bowe, great-grandsons Max Anderson (Fernanda), Oliver Bowe, Liam Bowe and Lino Bowe and many nieces and nephews.
He was a logger most of his working life. He co-owned ROC Logging with his brother Orville and employed many, many workers over the years.
He loved spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping and cutting wood.
He will always be missed, but will be forever in our hearts.
There will be a celebration of life, Monday, Dec. 2 at the Montesano Church of God at 11 a.m.
