Ruth Clara (Salmon) Ellison passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Ruth was born on September 17, 1927 in Spokane, Washington. Her parents were Lee and Clara Salmon. Ruth attended Memphis State University and earned a degree in education. She was proud of raising her family in Aberdeen and was blessed with many friends. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran and St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Ruth loved to play the piano.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lawrence Ellison, and her son, Dr. Tom Ellison.

She is survived by her children: Mark Ellison, Leslie Wheeler, and James Ellison; and was a grandmother to eight grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
