Scott was a lover of life and shared his passion for music, photography and art. He became interested in guitar at a very young age and at any gathering Scott would be playing his guitar and either singing his original songs or John Prine. He also didn’t go anywhere without his camera and loved spontaneous trips to the beach.

Scott was very proud of his children and has left them with fond memories of camping and road trips, coaching their baseball teams and irreplaceable time spent on the farm.

Scott graduated from Raymond High School in 1981. He received an associate’s degree in Carpentry from Grays Harbor Community College. He built his own home and worked for the Port of Willapa Harbor for several years. He also worked as a Mason. Scott was an artist by nature and went on to study graphic arts at Centralia College. In 2005 he was the state wide winner of the Washington State graphic arts calendar competition with his artistic interpretation of Washington. He enjoyed painting, creating photoshop art and even hand carved signs out of wood for many businesses in Raymond.

Scott is also survived by many other relatives including aunts and uncles and always said he had more cousins than you could shake a stick at.

A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 noon Saturday, May 6, at the former Harley’s Bar & Grill in Raymond. Cremation arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
