Former Grays Harbor resident Tammy Stevens, 52, born in Phoenix, Arizona on Feb. 9, 1967, passed away on Feb. 27, 2019, after a long-fought battle with lung cancer. Tammy is survived by her Husband of 30 years, Jeremy Stevens, her three children Brittany Richards, Levi Stevens, and Seth Stevens, as well as her son and daughter-in-law, Alan Richards and Kaylee McCullough. Tammy is also survived by her four grandchildren, and both of her parents.
Throughout her life, Tammy enjoyed the simple things; over everything, she practiced an unwavering love and devotion to her family. As a mother of three children, Tammy attended countless sporting events and school concerts, planned birthday and graduation celebrations, and always took pride in the accomplishments of her friends and family. In all stages of her life, Tammy’s family was her number one priority–a testament to her endless love and compassion.
Despite facing personal obstacles of unpredictability, Tammy tirelessly gave to others, and never failed in her selflessness. When she was not seeing to the needs of others, Tammy found peace and happiness in road-trip destinations, hot cups of coffee, snow days, a good slice of cake, and playing with her dogs, Chief and Sam. In addition, Tammy always looked for an excuse to decorate the house, no matter the occasion or festivity. Through and through, Tammy proved to be unforgettable––the kind of person who inspires lasting memories of utmost joy.
Tammy’s celebration of life will be held at the Wild River’s Sports Bar and Grill banquet hall on March 23. For more details, please reach out to Tammy’s daughter, Brittany, at (360) 662-6887.
