Terry Dean Hamilton, age 68, died Jan. 2, 2017, at Summit Pacific Medical Center.
Terry is survived by a wife, Sherrie (Mull) Hamilton, whom he was married to for 45 years and was the love of his life; and three children, Terry Hamilton from Phoenix, Ariz., Mark Hamilton from Glendale, Ariz., Darren Hamilton from Prescott, Ariz. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Steven, Jonathan, Aaron, Madison, Breadon, Aubrey, Joel, Lacey and Judah. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Daryl Hamilton, Irene Hamilton, and Belva Reed.
He grew up in Porter, Wash., the sixth child of Gordon Hamilton and Carrie Nicholeson Hamilton. He attended Porter grade school and Elma High School. He spent three years at Conquerors Bible College in Portland, Ore.
Terry was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a medic in Madigan Hospital at Fort Lewis.
Terry had a great sense of humor and could be depended upon to always tell a good joke. Spending time with his grandchildren was one of his favorite things to do. He was very loved by everyone who knew him.
Olympic Christian Center in McCleary, Wash., was his home church. He served as the Sunday School Secretary for many years.
Services will be held at Olympic Christian Center on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at 1 p.m.
