Travis Roderick Leroy Burgess passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. He was born Easter Sunday, April 18th, 1976, in Tacoma, Washington.
Travis attended Montesano High School before the family moved to Hoquiam. He graduated from Harbor High School.
As an artist he worked on a mural on the Smoke Shop, and worked in glass blowing and drawing. He would just draw and make beautiful cards in minutes. He also enjoyed karate, scouting, skateboarding, rock climbing, hiking, surfing, rafting, hunting, fishing, old cars and he played the banjo and harmonica.
Travis had a paint contracting business in Missoula, Montana. He fought forest fires, worked the oil fields of North Dakota and mined for gold on Garnet Mountain.
Travis is well-loved and always missed.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
He is survived by his father Rod Burgess and wife Debbie, his mother Cindy White and husband Marley, brothers Jason and Nic; stepbrothers Josh, Scott and Matt, his beautiful daughters, Savannah, Kaiya and Samara; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
