Vivian Bowdish, 89, passed away Dec. 14, 2018, in Lacey, Wash. She was born March 22, 1929, to Henry and Rynta Smith in Scotts Bluff, Neb.

Vivian was employed with the State of Washington for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling the world with friends, but her biggest joy was spending time with her kids, grandkids and friends. Vivian was a devout Christian and the family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace with God.

Vivian is survived by her son, Ken Bowdish (Louann); daughter, Geri Greene (Jim); eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Cherryl Hamilton (Tim); parents; and two brothers.

Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, 1 p.m. at McCleary Community Center, 726 W. Simpson Ave., McCleary, WA 98557.
