Vladimer Alexander “Bob” Dzutsoff was born Dec. 6, 1923 in Raymond, Wash. He died peacefully on Aug. 29, 2016 in Raymond, he was 92.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Anita Tenoski and Alex Dzutsoff, his wife Vivian Dzutsoff, his sister Grace Ross, and by his brother George Dzutsoff. He is survived by his son Stanley Dzutsoff of Lynnwood, Wash.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Air Force in WWII where he reached the rank of SGT. He flew on a B-17 where he was a crew chief / gunner. After the service he worked as a longshoreman in Seattle for 30+ years. After retiring, Bob and his wife Vivian moved back to Raymond.
Bob was well known in Raymond as “the can man”. He collected aluminum cans and donated all the proceeds to the Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, and also St. Judes.
Bob loved his family, enjoyed his flowers, garden, and working in his workshop. He will be greatly missed by many.
