Returning to the Evergreen 2A Conference after a two-year absence, Aberdeen fall athletes made their marks recently within all-league teams.
The biggest awards for Aberdeen came in boys tennis when four players and a coach were named to EvCo 2A All-League teams. All-league teams from girls soccer and volleyball were also released recently.
Boys tennis
The EvCo 2A champion Bobcats landed four players onto the all-league team, plus head coach Andy Duffy was named Coach of the Year.
Senior Ryan Solan was named to the first team, with juniors Luis Garcia and Josh Germeaux and sophomore Cody Sayres named to the second team.
Girls soccer
Five players from Aberdeen’s district-qualifying squad were named to the all-league team.
Senior midfielder Tayler Housden was named to the first team. Senior defenders Meagan Auld and Amanda Bradt, junior defender Taylor Coker and junior goalkeeper Reagan Glanz were named to the second team.
Volleyball
Two AHS players were picked onto the all-league team in volleyball.
Sophomore Tamara Corona was selected to the second team, while senior Haley Farrer was picked as an honorable mention.
