Six athletes, two coaches and two teams will form the next class in the Aberdeen High School Hall of Fame.

Ex-Bobcat athletes Jack Fournier, Tricia Larson (Needham), Julie Majeski (Carlson), Russell Mizin, Hank Sliva and Mark Walseth will be inducted in ceremonies scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Aberdeen High School commons.

Other inductees will be former AHS football coaches Robbie Lonborg and John Mashin, plus the 1910 and 1968 football teams.

Fournier and Mashin are deceased. Biographies of the inductees and ticket information will be listed at a later date.

Aberdeen Hall of Fame ceremonies will now be conducted every second year.

They will coincide this year — and most likely thereafter — with the Aberdeen-Hoquiam football game, scheduled this year for Sept. 8 at Olympic Stadium.
