Returning to the Evergreen 2A Conference after a two-year hiatus, Aberdeen claimed the league title and swept the major awards from the 2017 all-league team as announced on Friday afternoon.
Senior midfielder Cesar Corona was named EvCo 2A Most Valuable Player, with senior teammates Miguel Torres and Robby Lewis named Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively. AHS head coach Larry Fleming was also named Coach of the Year.
Two other Bobcats were named to the first team and two others were second-team selections. Named to the first team were junior midfielder Tony Oropeza and junior defender Trevor Dawkins.
