Raymond stayed hot after the break, outscoring the Vikings (5-3) 24-9 in the third quarter to take a comfortable 21-point lead heading into the final period of play.

“We played our best, most complete game of the year tonight. It was a packed house with a great environment and our guys really fed off of that energy,” Raymond head coach Mike Tully said. “Offensively, we did a good job of taking advantage of mismatches when we found them. We also shot the ball much better than we have all season.”

Guard Chris Quintana led Raymond with 22 points and four assists while Talan Yearout had a double-double with 14 points – 10 in the first quarter – and 10 rebounds.

Senior Austin Snodgrass also scored in double digits for Raymond, tallying 16 points to go along with six rebounds.

“I thought we started off the game playing poorly defensively,” Willapa Valley head coach Derek Rask said. “Unfortunately, we weren’t able to execute the adjustments we tried to make in the second half.”
