BREAKING: Aberdeen-Hoquiam boys basketball games on Friday cancelled

Games cancelled due to illness, rescheduled to Feb. 3

The Aberdeen at Hoquiam boys basketball game junior varsity and varsity basketball games originally scheduled for Friday evening have been cancelled.

In a statement from Hoquiam Athletic Director Shane Krohn, the games were cancelled due to illness among the Hoquiam coaching staff and have been rescheduled.

The games will now be played on Monday, February 3 in Hoquiam, with the JV game starting at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity contest to tip off at 6:45 p.m.

The statement reads as follows:

“The Aberdeen-Hoquiam Boys basketball games tonight have been cancelled. This is due to all three Hoquiam coaches being out sick today and it would be a disservice to our kids and fans to try and play the games.”
