Centralia 46, Elma 26
Elma High School honored two of its 2024 Hall of Fame inductees ahead of a 46-26 non-league loss to Centralia on Friday at Elma High School.
The Eagles (3-9 overall) led 14-8 in the first quarter thanks to seven points from junior guard Olivia Moore.
But Elma’s offense went cold, scoring just four points over the second and third periods combined, shooting 1 for 24 from the field during that time span (4%).
Sophomore forward Keke Bol led Elma with 10 points.
The Eagles shot 20% from the field on 10-of-51 shooting from the field and went 2 of 6 from the free-throw line (33%).
Before the game, Elma honored two of its Athletics Hall of Fame inductees with a ceremony for class of 1998’s Jamie Craighead and Ben Dougherty.
The Eagles resume 1A Evergreen League play with a matchup against Hoquiam at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in Elma.

Raymond-South Bend 63, North Beach 17
Raymond-South Bend won for the first time in league this season with a 63-17 victory over North Beach on Friday in Ocean Shores.
The Ravens (9-4, 1-1 2B Pacific) took control of the game early as standout junior forward Kassie Koski scored 10 points in the first quarter to stake RSB to a 27-6 lead.
RSB held a 44-10 lead by halftime, allowing Ravens head coach Jason Koski to rest his starters and give his bench significant playing time.
The Hyaks (1-9, 0-4) scored just 11 points over the final three quarters to suffer the loss.
”The kids did a nice job executing on offense and defense,” Coach Koski said. “It was nice to get some valuable varsity minutes for our swing JV kids. Hopefully these minutes will help us to develop our depth for the rest of the season.”
Ravens sophomore guard Avalynn Stigall (19 points, 3 assists, 3 steals), junior post Ava Baugher (17 pts., 7 rebounds) and Koski (13 pts., 8 steals, 4 rebounds, 3 assists) each scored in double figures for RSB.
Senior guard Katana Capoeman scored nine points to lead North Beach.
The Ravens had 16 turnovers while the Hyaks turned the ball over 22 times.
Raymond-South Bend hosts Onalaska in a non-league game scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday.
North Beach takes on Forks in a league match at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Forks High School.

Naselle 52, Ocosta 17
Ocosta lost 52-17 to Naselle in a 1B Coastal League game on Friday at Ocosta High School.
The Wildcats (1-6, 0-2 1B Coastal) went 7 of 30 from the field as a team (23%) and scored no more than seven points in any quarter of the game.
Ocosta was led by sophomore Elly Mirante, who scored nine points on 4-of-12 shooting (33%) and grabbed 12 rebounds.
The Wildcats trailed 26-6 at halftime and were outscored 26-11 in the second half.
Ocosta faces Ilwaco at 6 p.m. on Monday in Ilwaco.
