A former Aberdeen ace dealt Grays Harbor College a 21-0 loss in the first game of a double header on Saturday at Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam.
Former Aberdeen High School and current Pierce College right-hander Hunter Eisele stymied the Chokers (2-24 overall, 0-7 NWAC West) in pitching a scoreless six innings, allowing just two hits while striking out nine to earn the victory.
Four Grays Harbor pitchers combined to allow 18 earned runs on 11 hits, 10 walks and eight hit batters.
GHC trailed 4-0 in the top of the fifth, but Pierce scored 17 runs in the inning to put the game out of reach.
Chokers Samuel Polanco and Tony Dejesus each had a hit for GHC.

Pierce 7, Grays Harbor 1
Grays Harbor suffered its 20th consecutive loss with a 7-1 defeat to Pierce in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday in Hoquiam.
GHC (2-25, 0-8 NWAC West) trailed 4-0 until Samuel Polanco drove in Kellen Rapp with a single in the bottom of the third inning.
Pierce (15-16, 6-2) scored three more runs in the top of the fifth and held GHC scoreless over the final four innings to complete the twin-bill sweep.
Chokers starting pitcher Orion Pate took the loss, allowing seven runs on seven hits with a strikeout over four innings of work.
Four of Pate’s seven runs allowed were unearned as the Chokers defense committed five errors in the game.
Kobe Frazier gave up one hit and a walk in three innings of relief for Grays Harbor.
The loss was the 20th in a row for the Chokers, which haven’t won since a 2-0 victory over Blue Mountain on March 2.

Grays Harbor College lost to Pierce College 10-0 in the first game of a four-game weekend set on Friday in Lakewood.
The Chokers trailed 2-0 until the bottom of the sixth when the Raiders scored seven runs, four on bases-loaded walks.
Three GHC pitchers combined to allow 10 earned runs on eight hits, but walked 12 Pierce batters in the loss, three apiece.
Kyle Wells took the loss for the Chokers, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks in 5 1-3 innings pitched.
Shortstop Samuel Polanco led GHC’s offense with two hits in the game.

Grays Harbor College lost a pitcher’s duel to Pierce 3-1 in the second game of a doubleheader on Friday in Lakewood.
Chokers starting pitcher Diego Morfin allowed a run on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third inning and a pair of runs on a two-run single by Kadin Kingsbury in the fourth.
GHC catcher Braden Ellis singled to drive in designated hitter Tony Dejesus in the top of the fifth for the Chokers’ lone run of the game.
Ellis’ base hit was the only hit of the game for the Chokers off Pierce starting pitcher Cooper Weygandt, who allowed one earned run with three walks and six strikeouts to earn the complete-game victory.
Morfin took the loss, allowing three earned runs on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts in four innings pitched.
Former Montesano star and current Chokers right-hander Skylar Bove allowed three hits and struck out two in two scoreless innings of relief.
