Hoquiam senior middle blocker Kristina Goulet was named the 1A Evergreen League’s Most Valuable Player for the 2023 season.
Goulet often took over games with her net presence as the captain of the Grizzlies. The four-year varsity hit .462 with 103 kills on 199 attempts this season.
Goulet was also efficient with just 11 hitting errors while averaging of 3.5 kills per set.
Goulet also had 22 blocks for the second-place Grizzlies.
Goulet’s teammate – senior outside hitter Faith Prosch – was also named to the league’s First Team.
Other Twin Harbors athletes making the First Team were Montesano standouts Kaila Hatton, Karissa Otterstetter and Kylee Wisdom and Elma libero Allyson Warren.
